Programs creating real, lasting change
Our project work spans employment support, training, community education and research. Each initiative is designed to connect people to opportunity and build capability that endures.
Our programs
Employment Pathway Programs
Structured programs that take people from first contact through to sustained employment. Each participant has one point of contact who helps with the barriers that get in the way of work, including referrals to specialist services.
- Individual training and support plan
- Case management and specialist referrals
- Interview preparation and introductions to employers
- Ongoing support through the first weeks in the job
Training Pathways
Pre-employment workshops, plus access to nationally recognised qualifications through a partner registered training organisation. Training is chosen to match real vacancies, so learning leads to work.
- Pre-employment workshops
- Accredited training through partner RTOs
- Employer-aligned pathways
- Tailored learner support
Accredited training is delivered by our partner RTOs. Our current partner is Asset College (RTO 31718) (opens in a new tab).
Employer Partnerships
We work with employers to fill real vacancies. We introduce candidates who are prepared for the role and support them after they start, so placements last.
- Candidates prepared for specific roles
- Introductions to job-ready candidates
- Post-placement support
- Inclusive hiring partnerships, including Women in Security
Community Education Network
Free, independent, plain-English educational content that helps learners, families, employers and community workers understand vocational education and training.
- rpl.org.au (opens in a new tab), a free guide to Recognition of Prior Learning
- Written for learners, families, employers and community workers
- Free and independent
Evidence and Impact Research
Developing resources and conducting collaborative community research that grounds our practice in evidence, strengthens accountability and keeps our programs responsive to community need.
- Program evaluation and outcomes measurement
- Community needs analysis
- Resource development for practitioners
- Collaborative research partnerships
Pathways out of Disadvantage
An integrated initiative combining skills training with employment support, designed specifically for individuals facing multiple barriers to participation. It recognises that employment barriers are rarely simple or singular.
- Holistic, wraparound support model
- Tailored pathway planning
- Community partner referral network
- Long-term outcome tracking
